Welcome to the International Summer Opera Festival of Morelia.

This annual festival, now in its eight year, brings together young singers from across the globe for three weeks of rehearsals, masterclasses, private instruction, recitals and concerts, culminating in fully-staged performances (with orchestra) of two classics of the opera canon: Georges Bizet's fiery Carmen and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's tale of seduction and downfall, Don Giovanni.

The festival concludes with the Opera Gala, another opportunity to hear opera favorites in arias and ensemble work.
